The perfect champagne list to celebrate episode 10 and more about those bubbly champagne grapes.  We are so tired of the same boring old house hold names found in Champagne lists so we are putting Sainsburys and Marks & Spencers own brand Champagnes to the test.

Dawid thought it would be a good idea to taste something off dry for a change, but maybe this one was a little too sweet for his liking.

Yeasty, fruity and pear-like but a little too sweet.  If you like your champagne list favouring sweetness you can’t go wrong with this one – it is after all an award winning champagne.

Sainsburys Blanc de Noir Brut, £16 something

All you need to know is on the lable. Its made from white and red champagne grapes (Blanc de Noir) and its nice and dry (Brut)

Its deep from within the Champagne region and its top quality. Dry crisp yeasty melted butter and puppy breath, it tasted amazing after the first shocker from these quality champagne grapes!! Have it with smoked salmon, a match made in heaven.

Once again that yeasty pear and apple with melted butter slaps us in the kisser!

Its top quality and its delicious. Oysters with lemon, that’s all!
